About Us

Founded in 2004, the Carlan Group is a sales and marketing firm in the DC Metro area (MD, DC & VA) acting first and foremost as an extension of the manufacturers we represent. We leverage our experience in the contract furnishings industry and our expertise with our manufacturer's product lines to facilitate sales through dealers, design professionals, architects, and government procurements, ultimately bringing superior products to the end user. 

The Carlan Group revolves around its two dynamic principals, Lisa Carter and Margarita Moylan, who are veterans in their field, bringing over 42 years combined experience. Both have filled such roles as designer, project facilitator, and dealer, making them knowledgeable in all areas of the industry.
